Graphics and Logos - Your own Logos and Graphics if you have them can be adapted, optimised and used specifically for the web. Otherwise, any website graphics and images can be created for you by Seaking. We offer a Digital photography and scanning service which can very quickly provide the necessary materials for your website.
Website design - We don't use templates, so each website is customised to your requirements. We can help in ensuring that you end up with a website that stylistically best suits your business. You could be up and running on the web within a few days! Please contact us for more details.
E-commerce - Do you want to sell goods or services through your website? We can supply all the advice you'll require regarding shopping carts, merchant accounts and all the variations of price and postage regarding your e-commerce site.
Flash Animation - Used in moderation, Flash animated graphics can bring a touch of sophistication and interest to a website. An example of Flash animated graphics is contained within the panel with the moving goldfish below.
email - We provide a complete freedom of choice when selecting an email address associated with your own domain name. i.e. sales@yourbusinessname.co.uk or fred@yourname.co.uk. Emails accounts can also be set up to forward to other email addresses if required, and any number of email accounts can be provided. However, if you prefer to keep your existing email address, we can easily link your website to this.
Website optimisation and submission to the Search Engines - It's no use possessing a fabulously creative website if no-one can see it! All our websites are coded and optimised so they can be easily spidered and indexed by the major search engines.
All web sites designed by Seaking Ltd are submitted to the major search engines as standard. As part of our co-ordinated web marketing strategy, we'll also get your business listed on a variety of trade directories, all specifically designed to maximise and enhance your ratings in the search engine listings.
How much will it cost?
As with anything, the more money you have in your budget the more you're likely to get! In the case of web design this means more attractive design elements and complex features that could be incorporated into your website. You also would be wise to budget for periodic search engine optimisation and submission.
But being a small business ourselves, circulating within the small and medium sized business community in Kent, we understand the need to obtain value for money. For a point of reference, a single paged website could cost as little as £150.00 whereas generally a full website would cost between £500.00 and £700.00. We have built websites both lower and higher than these figures, so it's important to be aware of the full requirements!
An e-commerce site is more complex to design and prices start at £1000.00 (dependent on the number of items/services being sold).
Any ongoing maintenance is charged at £30.00 per hour.
